Let me introduce myself. My name is Ihor Chornovol – Doctor of Historical Sciences, journalist, tourist guide in Lviv and Galicia. Author of 7 books, about 140 scientific publications (articles, publication of primary sources, reviews), mostly from the past of Austrian Galicia in English, Belarusian, Polish, Ukrainian, as well as the bestseller “100 Outstanding Lvivers” (2009, 2nd edition – 2020), an enthusiast of popularizing the past of Lviv, moderator of the popular columns “People of Lviv” (2004 – 2008) and “Galicia incognita” (2012 – 2014) of “Lvivska Gazeta”. In 2009 Triada Plus Publishing House published my collection of essays entitled “100 Outstanding Lvivers” – a nominee for the Book of the Year competition of the Lviv Publishers’ Forum, a bestseller of books about Lviv.
